Abstract
âºUntrustworthy emotional expressions of partners in an economic game generate conflict. âºInterpersonal emotional conflict activates the Anterior Cingulate (ACC). âºDuring processing of trustworthy emotional expressions, the ACC interacts most strongly with the ventromedial prefrontal cortex (VMPFC), a core region of the Theory of Mind (ToM) brain network.
