Abstract
⺠We studied connectivity during self-initiated movements in Parkinson's disease (PD). ⺠The striatum-cortical and striatum-cerebellar connections are weakened in PD. ⺠The connections between cortico-cerebellar motor regions are strengthened in PD. ⺠These changes may contribute to the difficulty in self-initiated movements in PD.
