Abstract
⺠Social rejection elicited neural responses in predicted regions in a controlled task. ⺠Adults and adolescents showed a differential response to rejection in vlPFC. ⺠In adolescents, mPFC response was associated with susceptibility to peer influence. ⺠Neural development may influence peer-group interaction in an educational setting.
