Abstract
⺠Infants use speech rhythm to segment the speech stream into words. ⺠Rhythm is carried by syllable-level cues such as amplitude (intensity) rise time. ⺠We recorded ERPs to to rise time, duration and intensity changes. ⺠We report altered P1 and N1c ERP responses in dyslexia. ⺠Our data suggest that sensory auditory neural responses are impaired in dyslexia.
