Abstract
► Infants use speech rhythm to segment the speech stream into words. ► Rhythm is carried by syllable-level cues such as amplitude (intensity) rise time. ► We recorded ERPs to to rise time, duration and intensity changes. ► We report altered P1 and N1c ERP responses in dyslexia. ► Our data suggest that sensory auditory neural responses are impaired in dyslexia.
