Abstract
⺠fMRI functional connectivity (FC) in default mode network was linked to brain state. ⺠We found a specific EEG correlate of the default mode network (DMN) FC. ⺠EEG spectra explained 70% of intersubject DMN FC variance in healthy awake subjects. ⺠DMN hypoconnectivity linked to increased delta and decreased beta EEG power. ⺠DMN FC shown to correlate with EEG-derived alertness/sedation signatures.
