Abstract
âºIncreasing animacy experience recruits brain regions of the Social Neural Network.âºDecreasing animacy experience activates brain regions of the Mirror Neuron System.âºInteractive movements (e.g. movements of approach) are perceived as more animated, and recruit the Social Neural Network, including the amygdala and the temporal pole.
