Abstract
⺠[18F]Y1-973 is readily synthesized with high specific activity. ⺠[18F]Y1-973 uptake in monkey brain is blocked by pre-dosing an NPY Y1 antagonist. ⺠In vitro distribution of [18F]Y1-973 is similar in monkey and human brain tissue. ⺠[18F]Y1-973 is a useful PET tracer for imaging NPY Y1 in monkey. ⺠[18F]Y1-973 is a promising PET tracer for imaging NPY Y1 in human.
