Abstract
► Speech-induced suppression of auditory feedback is a speech-motor control process. ► Adults who stutter have abnormal auditory response latencies during speech-motor acts. ► We investigated if this was also the case in children who stutter (CWS). ► CWS had prolonged M50 peak latencies during vowel perception and production tasks. ► CWS may be deficient in integrating auditory information for speech-motor control.
