Spatio-temporal indications of sub-cortical involvement in leftward bias of spatial attention

►Simultaneous EEG-fMRI showed a positive correlation between right to left transfer time measured by scalp ERPs, and neural activation in the left pulvinar estimated by fMRI. ►DCM analysis further suggested stronger connections from the right to the left pulvinar nuclei, and from the pulvinar to the IPS within the right hemisphere. ►These findings add to prior findings by showing the involvement of sub-cortical structures in the leftward bias, and showing intra-hemispheric transfer bias.
