Abstract
⺠NIRS signals can be localized using measurements from a 3D digitizer. ⺠Applying geometric constraints allows modeling of the optode holder. ⺠This enables measurement denoising and unbiased cortical projection. ⺠The result is robust to individual anatomical differences and improves accuracy. ⺠This method has been implemented in a publicly available Matlab toolbox - NAP.
