Abstract
⺠Optimal number of cycles and optimal number of subjects are determined analytically. ⺠Analytical results for uncorrelated errors also valid for correlated errors. âºThe beneficial effect of more scanner time decreases for higher number of cycles. ⺠Slight deviations from the optimal design have little effect on design efficiency.
