Abstract
⺠People performed working memory tasks where they monitored facial emotion or identity. ⺠Dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) activity increased during both tasks. ⺠DLPFC correlated with activity in amygdala (emotion task) and fusiform (identity task). ⺠Between subjects, neural activity correlated with performance on the respective tasks.
