Abstract
►Diffusion tensor images and large-deformation diffeomorphic metric mapping lead to accurate brain normalization. ►Associated with an Atlas-based parcellation, these techniques provide a reliable automated segmentation of the whole brain. ►The quantification of different parameters in each area is useful for the evaluation of anatomical change in multiple diseases, such as the white matter injuries in cerebral palsy.
