Abstract
The recent use of nuclear magnetic resonance in conjunction with deformational flow (rheo-NMR) is reviewed. As well as covering velocimetry, the review emphasises the unique spectroscopic information available, showing how the method may be used to elucidate molecular ordering and dynamics and their relation to complex fluid rheology.
