Abstract
⺠We examine the impact of tobacco retailer density on multiple youth smoking outcomes. ⺠We use the 2000-2008 New York Youth Tobacco Surveys. ⺠High retailer density will increase positive attitudes toward smoking. ⺠High retailer density will increase youth exposure to tobacco advertising. ⺠Enforcement of youth access laws will reduce youth purchasing cigarettes in stores.
