Abstract
⺠Relationships between physical activity and co-morbidities were examined. ⺠Physical activity was inversely related to depression and homocysteine. ⺠Active individuals were also less likely to have metabolic syndrome. ⺠Active individuals were less likely to simultaneously have all three morbidities. ⺠Greater strengths of associations occurred for women compared to men.
