Abstract
► We studied social inequalities in indicators of inactivity at preschool age. ► Preschoolers from low educated families were more sedentary than their counterparts. ► Non-native preschoolers were more sedentary than their native counterparts. ► Mother's health behaviors did not explain these social inequalities. ► Social inequalities were less strong in physical activity.
