Abstract
												⺠p38 MAPK is a regulator of innate and adaptive self-targeting immunity. ⺠Inhibition of p38 MAPK abrogates self-destruction in various autoimmune diseases. ⺠The effectiveness of pharmaceutic p38 inhibitors has been questioned. ⺠p38 MAPK participates in ANCA-mediated activation of human neutrophils. ⺠Pemphigus is an ideal model to study p38 MAPK-mediated humoral autoimmunity.
