► Factor V Leiden could be responsible from some thrombotic events in at least Turkish patients with Behçet's disease. ► No association was found between prothrombin and MTHFR single nucleotide polymorphisms and thrombosis in Behçet's disease. ► No association between any single nucleotide polymorphism and ocular involvement was shown either.
