Abstract
⺠Increasing evidences point the phenotypic flexibility of the helper T cells. ⺠Helper T cells can express more than one master regulator. ⺠Epigenetic data help explain both stability and plasticity of helper T cells. ⺠MicroRNAs may play a crucial role in control of CD4 phenotypic stability.
