Abstract
⺠Diabetogenic CD4T cells localized to islets by an antigen-dependent mechanism. ⺠Intra-islet dendritic cells were essential for the localization of T cells. ⺠The localization of T cells promoted extensive changes in islet-gene expression. ⺠Diabetogenic T cells promoted entry of nonspecific T cells by distinct mechanisms.
