Abstract
⺠Immune suppressive leukocytes are prominent in pancreatic cancer. ⺠T cell infiltration is rare throughout disease progression. ⺠Pancreatic tumors may therefore remain intrinsically sensitive to T cell killing. ⺠Blockade of tumor GM-CSF blocks myeloid inflammation and mediates T cell immunity. ⺠Combination immunotherapies in pancreatic cancer are warranted.
