Abstract
⺠Clinical trials for CGD and WAS showed proof of principle of gene therapy. ⺠Gammaretroviral vectors are associated with insertional mutagenesis. ⺠Lentiviral vectors have improved safety and are more potent in transducing stem cells. ⺠A strong rationale supports gene therapy for other primary immunodeficiencies.
