Abstract
- A role of CKIP-1 in monocyte activation and TNF reverse signaling was examined.
- Expression of CKIP-1 resulted in activation of monocyte model cells.
- TNF reverse signaling triggered translocation of CKIP-1, while CKIP-1-mediated activation was inhibited.
- CKIP-1 expression counteracted TNF reverse signaling induced apoptosis.
- CKIP-1 is proposed as a candidate for regulating the fate of mTNF expressing cells.
