Abstract
⺠Regulatory T cells play the anti-inflammatory role in atherosclerosis. ⺠Regulatory T cells and dendritic cells interact to each other in atherogenesis. ⺠Tolerogenic dendritic cells play protective role against atherosclerosis. ⺠Balance between regulatory T cells and Th17 cells is crucial in atherogenesis. ⺠Induction of oral and mucosal tolerance may protect against atherosclerosis.
