Abstract

âº Regulatory T cells play the anti-inflammatory role in atherosclerosis. âº Regulatory T cells and dendritic cells interact to each other in atherogenesis. âº Tolerogenic dendritic cells play protective role against atherosclerosis. âº Balance between regulatory T cells and Th17 cells is crucial in atherogenesis. âº Induction of oral and mucosal tolerance may protect against atherosclerosis.
