Abstract
⺠We cloned C-type lectin gene (AJCTL) from Apostichopus japonicus. ⺠AJCTL belongs to the Reg protein (group VII). ⺠A remarkable up-regulation of AJCTL in the intestinum after challenging. ⺠AJCTL gene was widely distributed in different tissues of the sea cucumber.
