Abstract
⺠The TIM-1 pathway is associated with susceptibility to asthma. ⺠Recent data suggest novel roles on T cells, B cells, iNKT cells and epithelial cells. ⺠TIM-1 ligands have been identified, including LMIR5, phosphatidylserine, and viruses. ⺠Models are proposed to account for the diverse activities of the TIM-1 pathway.
