Abstract
- Use of temocillin in patients treated by intermittent haemodialysis was evaluated.
- Based on PK data, temocillin is a reliable option to treat Gram-negative infections in this setting.
- Temocillin parenteral therapy on dialysis days only is suitable for inpatients and outpatients.
- Doubling the recommended dose is needed to reach appropriate temocillin exposure.
