Abstract
⺠Many AID have been associated with genetic variations in IL-12 related gene regions. ⺠Based on IL-12 gene family associations 2 clusters of AID can be identified. ⺠AID cluster either in the Th17/Th1 or the Th1/IL-35 pathway. ⺠SNP-based analysis may improve the study of functional consequences for AID.
