Abstract
Patellar BMLs were consistently associated with increased knee pain especially going up/down stairs, increased patellar cartilage defects, and decreased patellar cartilage volume cross-sectionally and longitudinally, suggesting a predominantly compartment specific role for patellar BMLs.
