Abstract
												- Sandfly-borne phleboviruses are widely distributed in Tunisia.
- A putative novel phlebovirus called Saddaguia virus was detected in field-collected sand flies.
- The overall infection rate of sand flies with Saddaguia virus was 0.6%.
- Phlebotomus perniciosus, Phlebotomus longicuspis, and Phlebotomus perfiliewi are the main vectors of Saddaguia virus in Tunisia.
