Abstract
All ITS1 positive rodents were captured in areas where human leishmaniasis cases have been reported and potential sand fly vectors occur. This, therefore, could suggest the epidemiological importance of rodents in Ethiopia to a certain sort of reservoir system and open further insight the transmission dynamics of the disease.
