Abstract
- In a rickettsiosis area of Uruguay, 20.3% dogs were seropositive to Rickettsia parkeri.
- Five (6.2%) out of 81 Amblyomma triste ticks were infected by Rickettsia parkeri.
- Canine seroprevalence was higher in spring, coinciding with A. triste higher activity.
