Abstract
- A divergent clinical course of the ChD was observed in twins infected with T. cruzi.
- The T. cruzi infecting strain in both brothers belonged to DTU V.
- Innate immunity could play a role in the establishment of the ChD pathology.
- The use of K11-H70-PFR2-TgP63 biomarkers allows the monitoring of treatment efficacy.
- After BNZ treatment the innate immune system reaches a fully functional status.
