Abstract
- Schistosoma mekongi specific antibodies can be detected with Schistosoma mansoni antigens.
- The calculated sensitivity of the ELISA/IFA with S. mekongi sera is 94.5%.
- S. mekongi infection intensity as assessed by stool examination is positively correlated with serological results.
