Abstract
- An. annularis is one of the important vectors of malaria in Odisha, India.
- Vectorial capacity and genetic diversity of An. annularis was assessed by ISSR markers.
- Sibling species A was found throughout Odisha with potential vectorial attributes.
- Moderate genetic differentiation was observed in An. annularis populations, Angul being the most genetically unique.
- Cluster analyses showed the circulation of three distinct populations of An. annularis in Odisha.
