Abstract

- We study oviposition, orientation and electroantennogram response of Cx. quinquefasicatus to fatty acid esters at 10 mg/L.
- Octyl tridecanoate and propyl octadecanoate elicited increased behavioral and EAG responses.
- 14 Esters showed significant repellency to gravid Culex females.
- Oviposition repellents and attractants can be utilized in vector control.
