Abstract
⺠Prevalence of P. falciparum malaria was comparable between the various blood groups. ⺠Mean haemoglobin level was lowest in P. falciparum infected blood type A patients. ⺠Anaemia was most prevalent in P. falciparum infected patients of blood type A. ⺠Mean P. falciparum density was comparable among the different blood groups.
