Abstract
⺠Rhodnius robustus and Rhodnius pictipes were captured in different species of palm trees. ⺠R. robustus was more associated with Attalea marita. ⺠R. pictipes was more eclectic in relation to species of palm. ⺠Triatominae infected by Trypanosoma cruzi were caught near the county seat. ⺠Entomological and epidemiological surveillance in the region should be done.
