Abstract
⺠We study olfaction-mediated behavioral responses of Anopheles and Aedes to PO. ⺠Dose dependent EAG responses at 10â5 g were recorded from both mosquito species. ⺠80% of Stephensi, and 77% of Aegypti females were trapped at 10â5 g odor plume. ⺠Residual activity of PO effervescent tablet lasted for up to 1 week at 1 and 10 mg/L. ⺠PO can be used in ovitraps for monitoring of An. stephensi and Ae. aegypti.
