Abstract
► Maculatus group is an assemblage of six species in the north-east India. ► Among six member species, Anopheles pseudowillmori and Anopheles maculatus were found predominant. ► Detection of Anopheles rampae and Anopheles dravidicus formed new geographical distribution record. ► Restricted distribution of Anopheles willmori, Anopheles sawadwongporni and An. rampae was noted. ► Variations in ITS2 of three species were observed with neighbouring countries.
