Abstract
⺠Maculatus group is an assemblage of six species in the north-east India. ⺠Among six member species, Anopheles pseudowillmori and Anopheles maculatus were found predominant. ⺠Detection of Anopheles rampae and Anopheles dravidicus formed new geographical distribution record. ⺠Restricted distribution of Anopheles willmori, Anopheles sawadwongporni and An. rampae was noted. ⺠Variations in ITS2 of three species were observed with neighbouring countries.
