Abstract
► Level of genetic diversity, by msp-1 and msp-2, is low for Plasmodium falciparum in Haiti. ► The majority of individuals with malaria infections had a single parasite genotype. ► There was no association between MOI and age for either msp-1 or msp-2. ► Parasites were not found in blood on day 14 or 21 after treatment.
