Abstract
⺠Of the 76 dwellings surveyed, 12 had triatomine infestation in the peridomiciles. ⺠Results displayed that 44.41% of the bugs were Triatoma cruzi positive. ⺠Woodpiles presented high rates of triatomine infestation and T. cruzi infection. ⺠Of the total triatomines captured in the locality, 74.66% were found in woodpiles. ⺠Geospatial analysis showed woodpiles represent the greatest risk for Chagas disease.
