Abstract
⺠Increased pathogenicity in mice is associated to higher transmissibility to tsetse. ⺠At equal pathogenicity, domestic trypanosomes are better transmitted than wild ones. ⺠Transmissibility of dominant sylvatic and domestic trypanosomes is equivalent. ⺠Relation between trypanosome dose and transmission to tsetse has a constant profile.
