Abstract
⺠Toxoplasma IgG seropositivity rate of 67.5% is revealed among pregnant women in Menoufia governorate, Egypt. ⺠We determined the rate of Toxoplasma gondii infection in pregnant women in Menoufia governorate. ⺠Toxoplasma IgG seropositivity rate of 67.5% was revealed. ⺠Prevalence of chronic Toxoplasma infection (IgG+/IgMâ) was 64.7%. ⺠There is an increasing rate for toxoplasmosis over the past 20 years. ⺠This prevalence is high compared to other global rates.
