Abstract
⺠We collected wild females Anopheles gambiae in an African malaria endemic village. ⺠Naturally infected females with Plasmodium falciparum sporozoites were separated from the uninfected ones. ⺠The reproductive output of anopheles was compared among species based on the infection status. ⺠Natural sporozoite infection is not reducing eggs production of An. gambiae. ⺠There is a positive correlation between infected females body size and their egg production.
