Abstract
⺠A multiplex PCR for detection of microfilariae of filarioid nematodes affecting dogs was standardized. ⺠Cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 gene was amplified using a mix of species-specific forward primers. ⺠This assay represents a tool for the molecular detection and differentiation of filarioid nematodes.
