Abstract
⺠rDNA and mtDNA sequencing and phylogeny of fascioliasis lymnaeid hosts in Chile. ⺠Authochthonous Lymnaea viator and introduced Galba truncatula are main transmitters. ⺠Lymnaea lebruni and L. patagonica proved to be synonyms of Pectinidens diaphana. ⺠Distribution of G. truncatula appears related to areas with higher human and animal prevalences. ⺠Overlap of species explain lack of correlation between remote sensing data and prevalences.
