Abstract
⺠We examined school children from indigenous and non-indigenous population groups. ⺠We compared parasitologic and nutritional status parameters of the two groups. ⺠Prevalence of intestinal helminthiasis was higher in the indigenous population group. ⺠There was no significant difference in nutritional parameters between the two groups. ⺠There is a need to provide indigenous children better access to health services.
