Abstract
⺠The exposure of protozoan cysts to SODIS for 6 h resulted in significant inactivation. ⺠The addition of riboflavin significantly enhanced the inactivation of Acanthamoeba. ⺠Ascaris larvae continue to develop inside the ova after exposure to SODIS. ⺠Cryptosporidium remain impermeable to PI indicating they may still be infectious.
